Court started kayaking about 4 years ago in North Carolina on the Nantahala river paddling a play boat. Since then he has have moved on to slalom boats and has been training slalom regularly with the Red River Racing Team.  Court has since competed in a 2008 Olympic Team Trials Qualifier, the US Junior Team Trials, and most recently the 2008 Junior Olympics, where Court placed 8th out of 35 competitors!

“ I love this sport because it is amazingly fun yet still very competitive. Also their is a lot of room for improvement and so many things to learn and to get better. I plan to try and take this sport as far as I can and hopefully one day make the U.S team.”
